UGA India Night unites national and local Bollywood-fusion dance teams

On Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m., eight Bollywood dance teams from across the country and Georgia, came together at The Classic Center to showcase their unique performances. This annual event, which celebrated its 33rd anniversary, sold out the theatre.

Hosted by the UGA Indian Cultural Exchange, UGA India Night attracted a broad audience as the performers were not exclusively from Georgia.

Students from universities such as Saint Louis, North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Vanderbilt performed at the competition. Fellow students and parents of students from the colleges of participating teams came out to support their team.
